Being followed by your doctor for prenatal care is an important part of your pregnancy. She needs to ensure that your health and your baby’s health are not at risk.

First of all we need to confirm your pregnancy through a home pregnancy urine test

  • Be sure you are taking prenatal vitamins and folic acid

  • You need to make an appointment for an initial prenatal check (around the 8 week mark) to obtain a prenatal history. Your appointment will give you the time to ask any questions or concerns in regards to your pregnancy

  • Your prenatal checks (blood pressure, weight, urine etc) will be followed monthly thereafter until we refer to the obstetrician of your choice. The following informative websites will help you as you continue through your pregnancy
